Gunce Derin
Program Coordinator, Prison Education Initiative
Gunce graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies and Economics. In addition to her majors, she earned certificates in Criminal Justice, Environmental Studies, and Public Policy. During her academic years, she held various positions in sales, event management, and criminal trial investigations. As the PEI Program Coordinator, Gunce will provide administrative and programmatic assistance across numerous projects.

Matthew Greenberg
International Programs Manager
Matthew Greenberg helps oversee the Visiting International Student Program, admitting and advising incoming international students and planning orientations and events. Matt also admits and advises international students attending UW-Madison through exchange and ESL programs.

Stacy Iruk
Academic Advising Manager
Stacy reviews and manages all incoming admission applications for nondegree-seeking students, supports recruitment, and provides customer service to prospective and current students, Division of Continuing Studies staff and the wider community.

Beth Jaggers
Academic Advising Manager
Beth Jaggers admits and advises several populations of pre-baccalaureate students including high school special students (Early College Credit Program), students visiting from other higher education institutions, and Edgewood Collaborative Program students.
Josh Juedes
Director, Visiting International Student Program (VISP)
Josh oversees the Visiting International Student Program (visp.wisc.edu). He primarily working with faculty, staff and departments interested in bringing students to UW–Madison for short-term, credit study. Josh also works with the VISP Team on overall direction and strategy of the program in travel, recruiting, admitting and advising incoming international students, as well as maintaining international partnerships and planning orientations and events. He is also coordinates international initiatives for the Division of Continuing Studies throughout campus.
Moira Kelley
Communications Manager
Moira Kelley oversees and coordinates all office communication and publications and serves as a liaison to the Integrated Marketing and Communications team. She also is the web manager for the ACSSS website.
Bryn Martyna
Operations Director, Prison Education Initiative
Bryn has worked as a public interest lawyer, policy coordinator, and teacher. She has focused on issues related to criminal justice and education throughout much of her career, starting in 2005 as an attorney for the National Center for Youth Law in Oakland, CA. Since moving to Wisconsin in 2011, she has worked for the Wisconsin Court System, Department of Children and Families, and the Madison Metropolitan School District.

Peter Moreno
Director, Prison Education Initiative
Peter Moreno serves as the Director of Odyssey Beyond Bars, a new initiative to lead Odyssey's efforts to expand access to higher education in Wisconsin's prison system.
Anne Niendorf
Academic Advising Manager
Anne Niendorf assists the guest auditor student populations with admissions, course selection, and enrollment. She also provides management for nontraditional scholarships and continuing education grants.
Karen Ripley
IT Business Analyst
Karen Ripley administers many of USSS's processes including administration of the Special student admissions application. She works across the advising front lines teams to ensure the technology and processes are functional, clear, and documented while taking on special projects.

Martin Rouse
Associate Dean & Director
Martin Rouse directs the day-to-day admissions and student services for University Special students. Martin also works closely with visiting international students and advises community adults, especially recent immigrants, about options in returning to school.
Autumn Sanchez
Academic Advising Manager
Autumn Sanchez is the director for the Badger Ready program. She advises returning adults students and Odyssey Project students. She is also the community outreach liaison and Multicultural Disadvantaged Coordinator for USSS.
Anna Seidel-Quast
Associate Director, Visiting International Student Program (VISP)
Anna Seidel-Quast joined our staff as the first VISP coordinator back in 2012 before the program had begun. She oversees our program marketing, data management, website, and runs our recruiting agent network in addition to advising students from all over the world.
Zufang Shan
International Programs Manager
Zufang Shan works closely with the Visiting International Student Program (VISP) team. Zufang assists in meetings with UW-Madison faculty interested in bringing groups of students to campus from China, setting up meetings for delegations visiting from China, admitting and advising incoming Chinese VISP students, working with the VISP team on overall recruitment strategy in China, and planning group events.
Sarah Stilp
Interim Associate Dean & Director
Sarah Stilp oversees the team providing admission, enrollment, and student services to domestic University Special students. She is also responsible for IT and admissions operations oversight, including SIS (UW-Madison's student database).
Kyle Walsh
Career and Workforce Advisor, Prison Education Initiative
Kyle has worked in public education ever since graduating from the University of Wisconsin. He has served as an elementary school classroom teacher, as well as a school-level administrator at both the elementary and secondary levels. Kyle is focused on systems change, ensuring all people have access to education, and issues related to— and the intersectionality of— justice, equity and race.
